Want to get involved with our Primary Care Network?

Our Chester South Primary Care Network and its practices appreciate the benefits of engaging with our patients, carers, and staff in order to bring to light and understand the needs of our local population, and make sure our whole community can benefit from the care we provide with all of our available resources.

Below you can find out the ways in which you can get involved with our Primary Care Network to help us achieve this goal.

Join the Patient Participation Group

A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of patients, carers and GP practice staff who meet to discuss practice issues and patient experiences to help improve our services. Each of our practices have benefitted from the use of typical PPGs over recent years and as a PCN we are now looking to form a joint PPG for all of our practices. As the services within our practices start to be shared across our Primary Care Network it is important that the views from patients across all of our practices can be heard. PPGs have proven to be very useful in our practices for a number of reasons:
  • They give patients and practice staff the opportunity to meet and discuss topics of mutual interest.
  • They provide a means for patients to become more involved and make suggestions about the healthcare services they receive.
  • To explore issues from patient complaints and patient surveys, and help monitor improvements put in place.
  • To support health awareness and patient education.
Are you a patient at one of our practices? Please fill out the form below if you are interested in joining the Patient Participation Group.
